Here is the latest on the come and try day at Mallala on 8th August,

MSCA website describing it as a formal driver training day is inaccurate and will be updated asap. According to Peter Axford, who is organising it, the day will run roughly as follows:

Morning opportunity to drive around the track in your own car with an instructor beside you to give you tips on how to take the corners, when to brake etc.

This event will be held on 5th November 2010 starting at Victoria Park.  It is a touring event and includes morning tea at Hahndorf then an optional lunch in Nuriootpa (recommended).  There is also an option of a "Grand Parade" of the Northern Grand Prix track.  Quite a few club members participated last year including E Types, Mk II's and XK's old and new.  It was a great day so it would be terrific to get more Jaguars along.   Applications close 3 Sept,  h...
