From (a shaky) memory, I was at your first meeting and joined as a member.
I had a 4.2 silver Mk X with a very large (concertinaed to the back) vinyl roof, leaving only about 12" of metal all around. From memory it was registered RLA-491.
I wrote an article (again from memory called something like, "when is a Jag not a Jag" in our magazine about how a finance company repossessed it (after I had paid the previous owner cash in full). Boy, to say I was livid, is an understatement. It still leaves a very bitter taste in my mouth.
Recently, I acquired my second Jaguar after a lapse of some nearly 40 years and as I'm an avid internet user, I came across your website and it got me thinking.
I now reside on the Fleurieu Peninsula, SA and after some 40 years I have returned to the "Jaguar's Den" and am the proud owner of a new cub (1986 XJ-SC Cabriolet).
